This is not so much a recipe blog as it is a menu blog. The goal is not to tell you how the dishes are made but to show you that one is certainly not deprived on a carbohydrate-restricted, lacto-ovo vegetarian diet.
I don't go around telling people my dietary restrictions and quirks. However, the subject inevitably comes up from time to time. And when it does, I end up explaining to people what I eat and don't eat just to get a blank stare and a sympathetic head bob.
I then decided to put up pictures of what I eat so that I won't have to explain to people, especially my mom, ad nauseum that I do eat well. Also, I hope those who eat like I do will find inspiration from this pictorial menu.
